Saas-Fee slopes
Saas-Fee has good wide leveled slopes and less flat mogul slopes. Therefore, it is a true paradise for both beginners and advanced skiers. There are several slopes in Saas-Fee with a total length of over 100 km that is divided into:
- A blue run of 20 km;
- A red slope of 60 km;
- A black run of 20 km.
There is enough challenge for a snowboarder of any level to enjoy the thick snow, the insane scenery and the bright sunshine.
Altitude Saas-Fee
Saas-Fee is located at the foot of Switzerland’s highest mountain at 1800 meters above sea level. From the village you can admire the fantastic Dom of 4545 meters high, the mountain provides a beautiful view. The Saastal area surrounded by 13 four-thousanders.
The winter sports area in Saas-Fee is open from mid-July to mid-April. It is among the areas in the Alps where you can also snowboard in the summer. In the winter months there is snow in the areas between 1500 and 3600 meters above sea level. For the summer months, this is between 1800 and 3600 meters above sea level.
Cable car Saas-Fee
There are more than twenty elevators in the area that make it easy for winter sports enthusiasts to explore the area. Chairlifts, drag elevators and cable cars are available for snowboarders and lead you to the different mountains and slopes.
Freestyle park in Saas-Free
In Saas-Fee, you can find the village’s snow and freestyle park above the Morenia station. In season, you can come here daily to stunt on kickers, rails, boxes and transitions. These come in all shapes and sizes, so whether you’re a beginner or a professional, your luck will not run out here. In the summer period, there is even a halfpipe here. The perfect place to push boundaries.
Après ski Saas-Fee
The Gletscherstrasse is a well-known spot in Saas-Fee where, after a long day on the slopes, you can go for local Schnaps . In the “Après-ski mile” you can find several après-ski bars where you can sit inside or outside. In Saas-Fee, après-ski enthusiasts are in the right place.
